Terms of Use

Last updated 16 October 2026

These terms apply to everyone who uses GanttMind (the website at ganttmind.com.au, also reached at ganttmind.com, the apps, the demo and the free trial), whether for themselves or for a company. "We" and "us" means GanttMind. "You" means the person using the service and, where you use it for an organisation, that organisation. By ticking "I agree" or by using the service you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

1. Not legal, contractual or professional advice

Everything the service shows, calculates, writes or explains is general information and an analysis tool, not advice. This includes schedules, dates, float, critical paths, quality grades, forecasts, risk results, contingency figures, delay analyses, extension of time and cost figures, reports, method guides, help texts and anything written by the AI features.

  • It is not legal advice, contractual advice, expert evidence, engineering, quantity surveying, financial or any other professional advice, and no lawyer-client, expert or advisory relationship is created by using it.
  • Results depend on the files and inputs you give it, on assumptions and on methods that have limits. They can be incomplete or wrong. Check every result yourself, against your contract, your records and the original software (such as Primavera P6), before you rely on it.
  • Before you give a notice, make or assess a claim, sign a variation, give evidence or take part in a dispute, get advice from a qualified lawyer, delay expert or other professional who knows your contract and facts.
  • You are responsible for how you use the service and its results, and for every decision, notice, claim, report, submission and action you take, whether or not you used the service to prepare it.

2. AI features

Some features use an artificial intelligence model run by a third party (currently Anthropic) to read, summarise or draft text. AI output can be wrong, incomplete or invented, even when it sounds confident. The service shows which text was written by AI; treat it as a draft to check, never as a fact or as advice. Section 1 applies to it in full.

3. Your account and your space

  • You sign in with your email and a one-time code. Keep access to your email secure; you are responsible for what is done through your account.
  • A space belongs to its owner. The owner decides who joins and with what role, and is responsible for the people they invite.
  • Give us accurate details, and do not share an account between people.

4. Your files and data

  • Your schedules, documents and other content stay yours. You give us permission to store, process and display them only to run the service for you and your space, and to keep backups.
  • You confirm you have the right to upload them, including any permission needed from your employer, client or the other party to your contract, and that doing so does not break a confidentiality obligation.
  • We do not sell your content, show it to other customers or use it to train AI models. The AI learns only within your own space, and an owner can switch that off or reset it (see the Privacy Policy).
  • Keep your own copies. We take reasonable care, but we are not a backup service for your files.

5. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: no attempts to break, overload or get around its security or its plan limits, no access to other people's spaces, no copying or reselling of the service, the method guides or the help content, no automated scraping, and nothing unlawful. We may suspend an account that does this.

6. Demo, free trial and paid plans

  • The demo shows invented sample projects and is read only. The free trial gives access for a limited time, after which access stops unless a paid plan is agreed; your files are kept for a reasonable time.
  • Paid plans, prices and what each includes are agreed in writing with each customer (a quote). If a quote and these terms differ, the quote wins for that customer.
  • AI features have monthly usage limits so the service stays affordable for everyone.

7. Our service

The software, the engine, the design, the method guides and the help content belong to us. You may use them to run your own projects while you have access, not copy, publish or resell them.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service running and correct, but it is provided as it is and as available. It may be interrupted for maintenance or by events outside our control, and features may change. We may update these terms; when we do, we will ask you to agree to the new version before you continue.

9. Our liability

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot be excluded. Subject to that, and to the maximum extent the law allows:

  • we give no promise that the service or its results are accurate, complete, fit for a particular purpose or accepted by any other party, court, tribunal or expert;
  • we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of, or reliance on, the service or its results, including any delay, extension of time, claim, assessment, dispute, liquidated damages, cost, lost profit, lost revenue, lost data or other indirect or consequential loss;
  • where the law does not allow us to exclude liability, our liability is limited, at our option, to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again, and in any case to the fees you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim (nil for the demo and the free trial).

10. Your responsibility to us

You agree to cover us for claims by others (for example your client, your contractor or your employer) that arise from content you uploaded, from your breach of these terms, or from your use of the service's results.

11. Ending

You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your space. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken, if a trial or paid plan ends, or if we stop offering the service, giving notice where we reasonably can.

12. Law

These terms are governed by the law of Western Australia, Australia, and the courts of Western Australia have jurisdiction. If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.

13. Contact

Questions about these terms: use hello@ganttmind.com or the contact form at ganttmind.com.au/quote.
